We're using a new Sumi Mark IV printer to mark round and flat heat-shrink sleeving (typically 3/32" - 2", supplied on a large continuous roll), which we install over wire cables. Come to find out that the printer will only mark sleeving from that manufacturer, because it verifies an RFID tag embedded in the reel, and keeps track of the number of feet run off on each reel. The supplier introduced new part numbers for the sleeving with the RFID tags, so even their older sleeving won't work on the new machine.
Can anyone recommend a printer that will mark round and flat sleeving from multiple suppliers?
