Hello everyone,

I am looking for some insight / guidance on installing and soldering a Grand
Pacific Opto LCD (part # GPG128X64-NFPCELYX). One of our customer's is
using this part on a prototype and we are currently "hand soldering" the
flex strip terminations to a pcb. On two of the displays we've tried so far
(on a total of 8 units) the flex strip terminations broke free from the flex
circuit when soldering (too much heat???). I have tried Grand Pacific
Opto's website for application data but their site is currently being
updated. If any of you have used this type of component, please contact me
offline with any advice.

Thanks in advance.
