  We perform heat seal here with much success. It can be performed on either
gold plated fingers (expensive) or carbon coat (if your vendor has the
capability). From our resident guru, who comments:
     You should expect a 99/44/100% heat seal success rate. Call me at

I am having a major problem attaching heat seal ribbon to lcd's and gold
plated circuit board fingers.  Can anyone tell me what can of success rate I
should expect?
What can I do to assure connection reliability?  Such as chemical cleaning or
any thing else.
Any information on this subject would be appreciated, contacts, etc.
