Hi All!
Just to let ya'll know, Tessera is the company that started all this
micro-BGA stuff, they are the company that other companies have to get a
license from to produce a micro-BGA package (Tessera owns the patent).
If you go to: Http://www.tessera.com there's a bunch of technical papers
there about assembly, design, and other stuff that's pretty worthwhile if
you're thinking about getting into this stuff...
But to change the subject a bit, but still dealing with patents, there was a
thread recently about the "Lemelson Patent" which concerns machine vision and
bar-coding...is anybody worried about that? Just curious...
