TechNet!
Bon Jour!

I have noticed the recent oxide question with great interest but did not
hear about a yet unspoken topic:

Maybe I am from Mars to ask this, but does anyone know if there is a
controller for oxide additions to help keep consistency and reduce over
the side adds of water, chlorate, and caustic? Perhaps in the ORP or pH
regime?

What I am thinking about is the color-controlled Electroless line we use
and make an initial add at which point the bath operates indefinately
even in batch mode. Since there were multiple adds controlled by one
measurement, it took tweeking but now works great.

You tell me. Is this being done, or would I be better to join my
comrades on Mars?
