I've seen similar incidents from equipment vendors over the past couple years as well...the economy is causing many companies to 'rethink' how they gain revenue...new equipment sales being down, much equipment being purchased at auctions...it's taking a big bite out of them I'm sure...
I would be interested offline, in knowing what company that is...something to keep an eye open for...
