Paul asked:
Are there any automated bar code marking systems for marking PCB's? I
would like to replace our hand placed bar code labels.

When I went to Nepcon East '96, Brady had an automated label placer, that sat
over a conveyor line, integrated with a label printer. I think the price was
in the $70K range, but I could be way off. I also remember seeing a laser bar
code marking system a couple of years back that actually burned a bar code
into the edge of the board. Not manreadable, but I thought it was a real
slick idea. Can't remember the manufacturer or price, sorry.
