Bob,
We see lots of VME-based product, along with the various derivative
buses (such as VXI etc). Almost without exception, they come to us
depicted as nU-height(mm), ie 6U-280, 6U-160, etc.
Probably exactly because the spec leads one to ask the question
you've posed!!
