In a message dated 96-12-11 13:12:37 EST, you write:

<< I would like to find out what type of connector is required to
mate with the edge connect fingers of IPC SIR test coupons. I would
like to use both the B36 as well as the B25A type.
 Any help would be appreciated

There will have to be two different connectors. The B-36 has 32 contact pads
on each side, the B25A has 22. In my system, I use an AMP connector for the
B-36 board. The part number is 1-111212-1. I have gotten mine most recently
from LinTech Components (516-563-3000, Denise Latkowski). They run about $9
each, depending on quantity and are usually a long lead time (8 weeks) item.

As these are insulation displacing connectors, you will also need teflon
insulated ribbon cable. My supply has been Aerospace Computer Products
(800-234-4725, Mike Townes).

I have not yet determined a suitable connector for the B-25A.
