The original plan was to run the campaign until December 31, 1996 or
until we reached 50,000
messages, whichever came first. 

As of December 11, 1996, we reached our goal of 50,000 messages. As a
result, the email portion
of the campaign has come to a close. Please do not send email to
"[log in to unmask]". However,
you are more than welcome to post messages about your favorite holiday
thoughts and memories
to share with the internet community.

	Please let's keep the TechNet community from starting an
	email "storm".  They are still encouraging messages left on
	their web site.  Let's do this next year, if the program is
	continued.
