The buy out is to be done any day now. Rumor has it Quad will be bought out
by Tyco. If you do not already know Tyco recently purchased Multitroniks.
Rumor also has it Quad will be broken into two parts the Mirae Company that
makes the Millenium platform will continue with its interest and what Quad
truly makes will be under Tyco control. I do not know what products from
Multitroniks or Quad will be dissolved. We will wait and see.......

°Bill,
°
°As a user of Quad, only one machine, I am most interested in your comments.
°I am aware of what is going on to some degree. The way I understand it
°another company accused Quad of copying technology, I am sure as a user you
°have received the letters from the legal system. They are in the process of
°being bought by another company which is logistically supposed to make
°'things' go away. I am not sure this is a real problem.
°
°However, your comment about placement accuracy is peaking my interest. I
°would be interested in knowing what machines you have and their
°age. We only
°have one IIc on the floor and we seem to have some issues
°sometimes with the
°placement accuracy as well as fiducial location. Like you I am not the
°person most intimate with the day to day operation, but when problems
°continue or get worse, guess who gets called!?
°
°If you feel it appropriate, we can move any remaining email on this off the
°TN

°> We have three machines and quit a bit of fixturing so we are

°> a little bit about the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
°> Thank you.
