A question of policy.

I recently saw on technet an inquiry by someone seeking to locate a piece of
equipment-certainly a valid inquiry and a good use of the forum, I believe.
Now comes the question. If someone has a piece of equipment which they wish
to offer for sale, is the technet an appropriate place to do that? IPC should
address the issue and establish a policy so as to avoid potentail trouble
later on.

Thanks
