Not a whole lot of people clean after white Tin application.  Usually done on
an as-needed basis.  (some people have trouble passing SIR type tests after
immersion Tin)

Dark color may be due to Copper presence.  This could be either thin Tin, or
white Tin bath being contaminated with Copper, and co-deposited.
