We are looking for a printer that can do small labels for serial numbers
  on boards, and possibly barcodes in the future. Our hope is to apply the
  label to the board after fab but before assembly, for product tracking
  purposes.  So the label's gonna be subjected to a reflow oven, the
  cleaning chemicals, etc. Does anyone else do this, and can you recommend
  a printer and/or label material and supplier? Thanks,
