You must need your DPMO (Defects Per Millions Opportunities) per each
process and Yield for each product.
The cost of the repair of each defect (SMT, TH, BGA, Press fit etc.) should
be quantified
When you have the data, you can calculate the repair costs otherwise you
can .

I was asked the question if I could quantify results in a dollar amount
for the defects and rework we are doing in our manufacturing process.
I'd like to know how other people put a cost to rework. All suggestions
appreciated
