When I had this problem many years ago it was because the anode bag had
been pulled up tight against the bottom of the anode. I have also heard
from others that a napped bag with too tight of a weave will not allow
the copper sulfate that forms at the anode during electrolysis to
migrate through the bag before it becomes so concentrated that it salts
out.

To all technet users ,
Quite often I experience copper crystallization in the acid copper
bath
which
results in plating distribution problem .Apart from the several factors
that
affect this crystallisation -fluctuating current , concentration of the
bath , anode bag , anode basket etc -maybe someone would like to share
more
on this problem and how to overcome this in the plating line.
