Hi Rick,
I guess you have never been to an IPC meeting. IPC (and its staff) does not
author any documents (with the exception of Dieter, of course); IPC
committees consisting of IPC members do. Thus, the interpretation of the
spec, if IPC staff can not do it (they are however pretty knowledgeable),
should best be done by the chairman of the committee responsible for the
document.
