Is there any guide lines from IPC on component as how old components can be
used from soldering point of view assuming tin plated leads? Components
after that period can create soldering problem due to oxidation or something
else.

This question has been raised by our quality department after getting
components manufactured two years ago.

Any help in this matter will be highly appreciated.
