Hi,
First off all, I'd like to thank Andy for his explanation. The idea seems interesting, however I'll need a bit of time to think it over. Any other comments will be welcome.

I have tried to bake the boards according to Bill's idea, however the measling/delam. remained the same.

I must emphasize that I see the failure WITHOUT processing the boards.
Just taking them from storage shows the delam. on the preprocessed bare boards. There is no need to reflow/wave solder them in order to see the failure.
