in our application, the critical parameters are hole size and plating types and thicknesses. the vendor for the compliant pin has no unusual requirements for things such as roughness.

Subject: [TN] Plated thru holes for compliant pins
Are there any special considerations for hole and hole wall plating
for compliant pin use? I have been looking through 2221 and 2222,
but have found none.
