Presently in the Merix multilayer lamination process a release 
film is used with non-foil (conventional, the outside of the 
inner-layer laminate becomes the outer-layer) constructions.  I am 
investigating the possible elimination of this release film in 
order to reduce cost.

Is anyone successfully laminating conventional construction 
product without a release film?  Can you share with me any issues 
you encounter with this process or any special release coating you 
use on your separator plates?
