Mail*Link¨ SMTP [TECHNET] FREEZE-IT 2000 spray VS static charge

Hello technetters!

A QA partner have a question related to ESD:

We are using FREEZE-IT 2000 to debug and test some of our products. I was
told by a technician that this product generates a lot of static when
applied and therefore maybe harmfull to electrostatic discharge sensitive
(ESDS) components.
Would it be necessary for me to eliminate the use of this product?

If anyone of you has any information or answer, it would be greathly
appreciated.
