Technet,
After recieving a copy of the Jedec Standard, J-STD-020, I have a question
that hopefully one of you might answer. The Convection Reflow profile
requirement is listed as:
Ramp up rate: +6 degrees C/sec. max
Temperature maintained at 125 degrees C (+/-25): 120 seconds maximum
Temperature maintained above 183 degrees C: 120 - 180 seconds
Time at maximum temperature: 10 - 40 degrees C
Maximum temperature: 220 degrees C (+5/-0)
Ramp down rate -6 degrees C/sec max
My question is when figuring the time maintained at 125 degrees should one
only be counting the time actually maintained at 125 degrees or should I
include time between 100 and 150 degrees C?
Thanks,
Brian
