A good idea actually. In addition to TechNet (and ChipNet, etc.), perhaps
there should be a SpecNet which gave brief announcements on the release of new
IPC standards or revisions, errata, etc. Technical discussion or queries should
be left to TechNet. Other relevant info on Bellcore, MIL standards could also
be the subject of (brief) announcement-type posts.
I know that members get this info from IPC Review, and stuff is also on the IPC
website, but this is more direct for those who subscribe to the e-mail side.
Just a thought...
