Hi all,
Does anyone know the energy (BTU, Watts, HP, etc.) required to raise some
amount of SN63 solder (lbs, kg, etc.) some thermal unit (deg. F or C) in an
amount of time (min, hours, etc.)? Now to make the question even more
"anal" (pardon my moonish term) how about the energy to go through phase
transition? Have I been thinking about wave soldering too much? Probably
so, but I need this info to determine the correct kW values to heat an "N
lbs" pot in "X" time (a customer requirement).
