Hi all,
I was wondering if I could get some feedback regarding washing of misprinted
PCBs. What do you prefer, spray in air, ultrasonic immersion, other
methods? I am thinking of moving to an ultrasonic immersion process but am
concerned about damaging components already populated on one side, due to
the ultrasonic frequency. Is this a real concern if the frequency is 40kHz
and a power density of 7.6 watts/liter?
Also, what are the alternate methods used for cleaning a misprinted PCB, one
side populated post-reflow, with components that are not sealed for wash?
