We received prepreg (2112) with large number of voids (tiny single
isolated squares) between the warp & woof web. The counted number is 150

on 4" x 4" area.

The questions are:
What is the definition of that problem?
How this problem is tested?
What is the limit for such voids?
Will it disapear during the lamination process?
Is it connected (in some way) to resin content?

Can anyone give me a reference to any standard and any test method?

Meir Noga
