Adam, just so you know, the problem that the rest of the world has with your
approach, has less to do with the speed, than the "etch factor", or "How much
am I taking off sideways, for every mil I am removing in the direction I want
to etch?"

The answer probably is that you are etching sideways as much as you are
"down".

The best possible answer is to give yourself as much agitation as you you
can.
