I recently read a small blurb saying that Aluminum Oxide crystals
will (after time and usage) have the corners rounded and will result
with a "peening" instead of a "toothed" scrub on copper layers. We
installed an Aluminum Oxide scrubber 6 mos ago and (to the best of my
knowledge) never encountered this. The system decants the small broken
up particles and we replenish based on usage. Initial tests proved
a more pronounced topology with better dryfilm adhesion.
I was just wondering if other people recently have ran into the
"peening" problem or was that just a skeleton from times past?
