Dick,
Perhaps you can forward this message to the IPC TechNet forum, in
response to the two posts regarding stencil printing of surface mount
adhesives.

Loctite currently has Chipbonder(R) 3611 commercially available for use
in stencil printing applications. 3611 is specially formulated to
minimize moisture absorption from ambient humidity while maintaining
the appropriate rheology for stencil printing.

In addition, Loctite is working on an agreement with the manufacturer
of a plastic stencil to provide a process and new adheisive for the
placement of multiple height adhesive dots from one pass of the
squeegee. That's right, one sqeegee pass, one single thickness
stencil--dots for 0402'2 next to dots for PLCC's. This was
demonstrated on the TAC line at NEPCON two weeks ago.

As we have done with manufacturers of syringe dispensing equipment,
Loctite is also working to develop this process with the major stencil
printing equipment manufacturers. This total process approach combined
with our high quality line of Loctite(R) Chipbonder(R) surface mount
adhesives sets us apart from others. Call 1-800-LOCTITE or your Local
Loctite representative for more information.
