Wave soldering SOIC devices check the idth ofthe pads used they should be
0.020-0.022" wide any greater then shorting will increase. The IPC design
standard is incorrect in this matter. 
The use of solder thiefs increases the yields. Solder thiefs must be at least 3X
the size of the pad width be of any value.
