Jerry,
The IPC-D-275 tables represent a compilation of what is achievable by the
majority of board fabricators. It is not intended to set the standard for
which board fabricators must meet. These parameters are based on a number of
issues, including the type of materials being used.
The committee is currently rewriting the IPC-D-275 and is looking for
industry input for these numbers.
