Steve, scoring is an extra step, and adds both cost and value which is
realized in assembly. one array = many parts.

1a. If the parts within the array are square with no slots, they can be
scored out completely eliminating the need for NC Rout. (we do this
frequently).

1b. You are correct, however, this is a design decision and
manufacturing eficiency is not always the first consideration. (tab rout
vs score)

1c. Yeah, some do. it ain't terribly accurate or fast, but it can be
done. (depth control is iffy and one side at a time)

2. There are two common methods for alligning score lines 1) pins in
holes. 2) edge reference. Niether lend themselves to trapazoids. (no)

3. Yes, however, when the proper score depth is achieved, manual
de-paneling should produce very little stress on components.

4. Let me know on this one.  That would sure save a lot of time around
here.
