Hi Ken - ok, in the spirit of Friday, here is the definition of "mummy
dust":
Mummy Dust: noun, derived from old Iowan and Wisconsinian, a slightly
grey powder substance produced by boiling the nests of storts. A stort is
a heavy set low land bird, comprised mainly of meat and feathers, which
flys in ever diminishing circles, crying "Wango, Wango". Storts belong to
the Nauga family.

Re: [TN] Weird one - bismuth in overmold
OK Dave, I've been waiting for Friday to ask the question; What is "mummy
dust"? That is one technical term that I've not heard before. Maybe it's
because I live and work on a small island in Washington State and the dust
hasn't made it this far ;-)

Hi Vlad - Nope, based on the huge amount of testing of products for RoHS
materials, it is amazing on how much "mummy dust" is incorporated into
products for specific reasons.
