For question on 9/12/96 from Derris Chew, Motorola PCB Operations:

"Does anyone know of a machine that is able to measure inner layer
expansion/shrinkage immediately after multilayer lamination ? Something like
a machine that uses x-rays to locate the positions of fiducials at known
coordinates on the panels and then generates the x/y shift with respect to
nominal."

Operations Technology (OPTEK) manufactures an X-ray measurement
and inspection system called Innervision that does exactly what is requested.
