Jim,
There is an IPC committee working on 4 point bend testing. I can't remember the number. It started out as an off-line project by Celestica/Cisco/Intel/Sun.  There is a draft doc, but I did not make the committee meeting in Minneapolis, so I do not know where they are at.  For c, I would ask the JEDEC crowd.

A little help with Specifications please...

 

Are there any sort of industry standards which define the following tests:

 

    a. three point bend test

 

    b. four point bend test

 

    c. ball shear test

    

    d. board level torsion test

 

I am aware of a number of internal documents at several companies for many of these. The question is: Are there any published tests that concern themselves with these kinds of tests, such as IPC, ISO, MIL, ASTM, etc.?
