Документ J-STD-001E признан по всему миру в качестве единого стандарта для обеспечения согласованности в отрасли по вопросам паяльных материалов и процессов пайки. Настоящая редакция, помимо более простых для понимания параметров материалов, методик и вопросов контроля для изготовления качественных паяных соединений и сборок, содержит данные по изготовлению бессвинцовых изделий. В документе содержатся требования к изделиям всех трех классов. Для лучшего восприятия информации имеются полноцветные иллюстрации. Данный стандарт в полной мере соответствует стандарту IPC-A-610E. 54 страницы. Выпущен в апреле 2010 г.
