With all the talk about data reading problems and formats etc.,  I would
like to just add one comment. I believe that the fab house that actually
does call me with any question about how to interpret, or how I documented,
data format, fab dwg unclear, dimension might be wrong etc. is the fab
vendor I would PREFER to deal with. No body is perfect! We would like to
think we are but that just is not the case. I believe it is better to
question and hope to get it the way the customer wanted it. Its nice that
you can prove the vendor did not understand the print and the print is the
way you wanted it and could be reimbursed for the mistake but all that money
does not help you with the fact that this months production can't happen.
