Well, since my money is being used to support
these warmongers, maybe I should withdraw
it.
I sure don't want to be accused of supporting
this terrorism, ya know...

I see no reason that anyone needs to "win" this
"war", (other than greed). All I know is that I'm
one of the civilians caught in the crossfire.

I remember when IPC-D-275 wasn't even copy-
righted, and Gary Ferrari and Deiter Bergman
gave me permission to make free copies for my
PCAD user group. Do you think I would get that
permission now? HA! Boy, things sure change...

How did the IPC go from being a friendly group
that was trying to spread the gospel of learning
together and sharing our experience, to some
kind of "business-is-business" money machine?

I'll stop by the IPC booth next week at the PCB
Design Conference and have a chat.

Blessed are the Peacemakers.

Jack (the "can't we all get along?" kinda guy)

Jack, and Andy and anyone else that is interested:

The Designers Council Executive Board is hard at work trying to find a
formula that addresses two really big issues:

1) The IPC sees UP media and its shows as arch competitiors, and proceeds
on
trying really hard to "win" the competitive war. There's justification for
that attitude - business is business.
