Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone can point me to some hard data or articles on the reduced reliability / failure of vias due to multiple reflow cycles.
I believe that after as little as 3 or 4 cycles that via reliability decreases quite dramatically, but can't remember where I actually got this from.
Repeated Z-axis expansion fatiguing the vias causing barrel cracking and separation is the mechanism I recall.
