David,
I have always had great quality on difficult boards using Marcel
Electronics International (MEI). I have found when others say they can
do it MEI has always proven it and can back up what they do with real
quality. Up front engineering, process control and inspection is
something that MEI built it reputation on and customers, like myself,
have come to expect from them. I will not call out names but I have had
problems with other well know vendors controlling process and not doing
the proper inspections. I can honestly say, backed up by hundreds of
third party micro-sections, that if you want quality then you should at
least try MEI.

Subject: [DC] 15:1 Aspect Ratio Board Shop

Fellow IPC Members:

We are looking for a reasonably priced (I didn't say cheap, quality is
always priority) board shop that can handle a 15:1 aspect ratio. Our
current scenario is 0.180" thick 0.012" drill, 18 layers, 0.007" trace
width, 1oz. cu and 50 ohm impedance throughout.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

TIA

David Baldwin CID+
