Brought to you by the IPC PCB Suppliers Management Council Steering
Committee and
the IPC Designers Council

Why Designers Must Know About Embedded Passives
As a PCB designer, you are facing mounting pressure from the industry to
make boards smaller, more functional and cheaper. Embedded passives
technology is increasingly being seen as an enabler to reducing size,
improving performance, and lowering costs. Due to its potential, this new
technology is being explored and perfected at a rapid pace. Designers are
the key to its development. Make sure your company can compete and provide
its customers with the latest there is to offer.

Who Should Attend
This half day workshop is developed for PCB designers, management and those
who have an interest in the design of printed circuit boards.

What You Will Learn

· The markets driving embedded passives and what is being required
· Material considerations and costs
· The latest advancements in the design of embedded passives
· Status of design software
· How to overcome some of the challenges associated with embedded
passives
