I hope you all had a great 4 day weekend... :-)
I think I understand the intent of the spec... sort of like 'LOW-MED-HI'
on your 3 speed blender at home...
I'm sure they were describing the 'producibility'... because the spec is
really written from the fabricator's point of view.
Reduced Producibility can mean 'High Technology' or could also mean poor
application of producible design rules... or
i.e. 'forcing by design' a material or process on the manufacturer that
is inherently difficult to manufacture.
At any rate... the wording is unfortunate because it is out of sync with
the apparent intent.

It's kind of human nature to read what we think it says instead of what
it actually says. Regardless of what it actually says, when I read it,
I think it says:
Level A General Technology - Producibility: Preferred
Level B Moderate Technology - Producibility: Standard
Level C High Technology - Producibility: Reduced
And in re-reading the whole thing, you could probably substitute
"Density" for "Technology" and be none the worse for wear.
