Doug,
     On the web "http://www.eskimo.com/~ultra/tech.htm" there is a file
called "Maintaining Clean Power" (size = 511969).  It is a selfextracting
HPLJ file.  It is a very good discussion of the pros and cons of cap
placement and why.  If you don't have web access but do have ftp access
it is "ftp.eskimo.com/u/u/ultra/notes/t007.exe".
     If you don't have access to an HP printer you can email a request to
[log in to unmask] and they will mail you a hardcopy of the document.
