Wide, too wide, at 25 degree C rise, 3.85 inches. 10 degree C rise - 6.7
inches.
Not advisable, especially internal. You want to get the heat OUT of the
board not into it. The Z axis thermal expansion is not acceptable, will most
likely lead to failure.

OK Guys.. Here's a good one for you.
If you have an internal trace that is 0.5 oz. copper.. How wide does the
trace have to be to hold 30 amps for 2 minutes without burning up the board
or loosing the trace. Any ideas?
