Hi Matthew-

Schematic symbol and reference designator std. is ANSI Y32.2-1975 / IEEE
Std 315-1975.

IPC-D-325A, section 10 addresses schematic drawings, including 3-way vs.
4-way ties.

Hi, I'm wondering if there are any standards or design guides for how best
to draw schematics?

EG, AFAIK there is something about not taking more than 3 connections into
a junction point, but is that in a standard etc?

I'd like to be able to quantify some of the reasons I have for specific
ways
of drawings schematics.
