Hello Sheila, got the adress: e-mail: <[log in to unmask]> voice: +46 220 17085 ask for Marcus Ehlin Good Luck Ingemar Give me one or two days, Sheila, I'll see if I can give you some idea. We had a fire that cost us multum. We had to send a lot of instruments and PWBs to a company specialized in soot cleaning. Important is to perform ion test afterwards too see there are no remainings. The company made a very fast such measurement with a mobile equipment. We have Marconi people working here, maybe they also remember those bad days. cu Ingemar Hernefjord Ericsson Microwave Systems Hi TechNetters -- Anyone got any ideas/experience with cleaning (nondestructively!!) assembled PWBs that were exposed to an electrical fire? The boards are covered with soot and associated black gunk. They are conformal coated (urethane). TIA.
