Just a thought here, On the double messages, is it only on the emails you originate that you get doubles on? If so, note that when someone replys to your email, a lot of email packages will reply to TechNet as well as the originator of the original email. This would get you two copies of any response to your email and appear like duplicated messages. If you don't get double of everything, then maybe this is what you are seeing. For instance, on this one I deleted Miguel from the "TO" list before sending it so Miguel will only get one copy of the message via TechNet and not get a duplicate to his own address.
