There is not much you can do about it but the contamination will build up quicker in small solder pots as opposed to the larger (1000 lbs +)pots. If your not soldering copper boards then start looking for the person that is throwing pennys into the bath. (Yes, I have seen this happen) If you have any doubt about the solder your using then you should have it analysed by someone other than your vendor. We reduce the temp and dross each morning. Could you recommend a specific PM program to keep our SnPb clean? We believe per the certicates of analyses that our supplier gives us good product. Any other reasons it might rise?
