Hi all, The compensation amount depends on many factors and can be as little as zero. What etchant are you using and what are the operating parameters of the etchant? That is to say .0005" per edge of trace on . 1 oz and .00025 per edge on the .5 oz.. Hope this helps. I mean how much more 4 mil line will be beefed up by fab house before etching so that at the end he or she will get required 4 mil trace width. re, ken patel ______________________________________________________ Ken Patel Phone: (408) 490-6804 1708 McCarthy Blvd. Fax: (408) 490-6859 Milpitas, CA 95035 Beeper: (888) 769-1808 ############################################################## TechNet Mail List provided as a free service by IPC using LISTSERV 1.8c ############################################################## To subscribe/unsubscribe, send a message to [log in to unmask] with following text in the body: To subscribe: SUBSCRIBE TECHNET <your full name> To unsubscribe: SIGNOFF TECHNET ############################################################## Please visit IPC web site (http://www.ipc.org/html/forum.htm) for additional information.
